Lauren Kanter
Associate
Lauren Kanter is a member of the firm's corporate and private equity groups. Her practice includes corporate
transactions involving private investments, corporate governance and other related business matters. She also
has significant commercial litigation experience, counseling clients in business and zoning disputes.
Lauren graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where she received a B.A. in History with
Distinction in All Subjects. She began her legal career as a legal assistant at a Westchester real estate
practice and then at a boutique intellectual property firm in Manhattan. She received her J.D. with a
Certificate of Concentration in International Law from Pace University in White Plains, New York. While
in law school, Lauren was a University Merit Scholar and also spent a semester in London, studying both
domestic and international law.
